At OAKE Yoga, we build a community that helps each person reconnect with their body, breath, nature, and purpose. Through yoga classes, guided meditation, and journaling - both together and individually - we cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.

About Us

Founded by Laura Margison (RYT-200), OAKE Yoga is a vibrant community offering both in-person and global experiences for those seeking deeper wellness and meaningful connections. Inspired by and respectful of the history and teachings of yoga, OAKE Yoga welcomes all individuals to explore yoga's transformative potential.

 

We offer nurturing guidance in yoga asana, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, wellness, and journaling - all anchored in yoga’s foundational principles of presence, mindful awareness, and connection. Our thoughtfully designed offerings empower you to cultivate greater balance, clarity, and vitality in your daily life.

 

Laura completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Shift Yoga in Fulton, MD, as well as specialized Yin Yoga training. With over two decades of personal yoga practice and a professional background in global non-profit communications, Laura uniquely integrates mindful yoga instruction with practical wisdom, creating welcoming spaces for growth and self-discovery.
